Practice Policies

• Please be on time for practice.
• DO NOT ATTEND if you have ANY symptoms of illness.  
• Respect for coaches and other swimmers is expected behavior.  Misbehavior, horseplay, disrespect for Thornwood coaches and staff can result in removal from practice. 
• Please do not attempt to talk with the coaches during practices. They are paying attention to the swimmers in the water. They can be reached via email or after practices are complete( after 7:30pm). 
• The baby pool and diving well and deck are closed to swimmers and their families during practice.  Please do not allow swimmers/siblings into these areas. 
• Practices are weather dependent.  We attempt to notify our swimmers/parents as early as possible of any changes or cancellations. Rain does not cancel practice.  Thunder/Lightening do.
