 About our Summer Swim Team...


We are proud to be...
the oldest neighborhood based, community focused, Summer Swim Team Program at the crossroads of the Energy Corridor, and a member of the 
Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference. 

Our parent volunteer run program focuses on...

      • Fun
      • Learning
      • Excelling
      • Competing
      • Sportsmanship

This "FLECS attitude" has been the fundemental framework for our team since it's founding in 1977. 

Our May-June swim program has offered life long lessons to 1000+ swimmers over the years. The Sharks are a cool skool in our pool !

Ages 4-18, new swimmer or experienced, if this approach and having loads of fun appeals to you, consider joining our swim team family.

We're confident you'll appreciate our manageable size, our coaching, our camaraderie, and our spirit.

Participate in our legacy...be a big fish in our little pond and make new "fins" this summer! 

Competitive swimming experience or not,  ...you can swim with us and experience the magic of our program.

Season Practice Schedule 



May - June / Weekdays Mon - Fri

5:00 - 5:30 pm      Pre-Swim
5:30 - 6:00 pm      age 6 & U
6:00 - 6:30 pm      age 7-8
6:30 - 7:15 pm      age 9-10
6:45 - 7:30 pm      age 11+


May is our Skills Building Month
June is our Month of Meets

Courtesy & Safety Minded Rules...

Please read and heed to be safe & welcomed guests at all the pools we swim!  Coaches, lifeguards, and meet officials, should not have to remind your family of these Team Pool Rules:

  • Follow all posted pool rules.
  • No running at pools. 
  • No glass containers at pools.
  • No pets at pools.
  • No gum at pools.
  • No diving w/o coach supervision.
  • No unsupervised swimming.
  • No non-team siblings or friends in pools during team use.
  • No poor Sportsmanship, ...ever.
  • Respect pool/deck equipment.
  • Stay off the lane ropes.  
  • Respect other swimmers, coaches, lifeguards, and officials.
  • Always pick up after your family.
